Professional Photography

Photographers have the opportunity to bring their clients into the field for beautiful photos.

Photo shoots can be booked in half hour entry time slots and include entry for the photographer and the clients of 2 sessions or mini-sessions. No flower bouquets are included with the “Photography Site Fee,” but your clients will get a discount on bouquets on the day of their photo shoot.

When do you need to purchase a “Photography Site Fee”?

You do not need to purchase a Photography Site Fee” ticket if you only plan to take photos of your immediate family. You should instead purchase regular timed tickets.

You will need to purchase a “Photography Site Fee” if the photo shoot is for monetary gain or an exchange of services, for a proposal, an engagement, for wedding photos, or for large groups; if the shoot will use equipment such as props, reflectors, diffusers, lights, or a detachable flash; or you are looking to take photos when we are regularly closed to the public.

Why purchase a “Photography Site Fee” instead of regular tickets?

Your tickets are flexible for the weather! If the weather is terrible on the day of your shoot, you can reschedule.

You are guaranteed entry! We often sell out on busy weekends, especially during the peak of the tulip and sunflower seasons. You can purchase your photography site fee well in advance to guarantee your entry.

You can bring props! A chair, bench, cute signs, or lighting. These sorts of things are not permitted unless you have a “Photography Site Fee.”

Your clients get a discount on flowers! Clients receive 10% off Grab&Go pre-made bouquets and a discount off of a u-pick ticket!

We grew your backdrop! Without our flowers, your client’s photos would not be as beautiful. Purchasing the correct tickets fairly compensates our hard work.

Regardless of when you come to our field, you will always be sharing the field with other people.

Our fields can get very busy, particularly on weekends. We do not have a photography specific area in our fields because that would limit creativity and be less flexible if your clients want a particular shot with a particular flower.

You will be sharing the field with our general visitors. It is up to you as the photographer to position yourself to get the best shots.

Please remember: Our field is huge! We grow a lot of flowers and it takes up a lot of space, which means many opportunities for fantastic shots, even when there are other visitors in the field.
